The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a worldwide Christian community founded in 1833 to serve the homeless, provide food for the hungry and assist the poor. The generosity of Sacred Heart parishioners enables us to help our neighbors who are suffering or deprived, while promoting human dignity and personal integrity.
Our office and pantry is located in the Stutzke Center, 328 W. Maple Avenue. We are open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. or by appointment.
Parishioners may bring nonperishable food, personal hygiene supplies and cleaning supplies to the back of the church the first weekend of the month following the masses.
There is a need for new members. The Society's members aspire to follow Christ through service to those in need. Vincentians serve in hope.
If you know of someone who needs assistance, have them call 630-812-2270 and leave a clear, concise message. All calls will be handled confidentially.

The "Apostles for Life" is a teen pro-life group dedicated to working for pro-life causes and educating its members on life topics, such as refuting abortion and euthanasia arguments. In addition to holding monthly meetings on the second Friday of each month at Sacred Heart Parish, the club has also hosted multiple pro-life fundraisers, including movie night, baby bottle drives and a bake sale.
