“We cannot better assure our eternal happiness than by living and dying in the service of the poor, in the arms of Providence, and with genuine renouncement of ourselves in order to follow Jesus Christ.”

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a worldwide Christian community founded in 1833 to serve the homeless, provide food for the hungry and assist the poor. The generosity of Sacred Heart parishioners enables us to help our neighbors who are suffering or deprived, while promoting human dignity and personal integrity.
Our office and pantry is located in the Stutzke Center, 328 W. Maple Avenue. We are open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. or by appointment.
Parishioners may bring nonperishable food, personal hygiene supplies and cleaning supplies to the back of the church the first weekend of the month following the masses.
There is a need for new members. The Society's members aspire to follow Christ through service to those in need. Vincentians serve in hope.
If you know of someone who needs assistance, have them call 630-812-2270 and leave a clear, concise message. All calls will be handled confidentially.
